A light assembled from repurposed car parts.

Drawing and making sit alongside design work as a continuous practice rather than a separate activity. The ink sketches shown here move between mechanical components and architectural observation, using the same analytical eye in both directions: understanding how things are assembled, how forces are expressed through form, and where a material wants to go.
The lamp is constructed from salvaged industrial components, valve bodies, springs, and fittings rewired and reoriented into a functional object. The interest is not in the novelty of repurposing but in what the components already know what to do structurally, and how little needs to change to make that legible in a new context.
